Prize of Best Student Poster Presentation (among 107 posters) at the 15th Annual Conference of the British Academy of Audiology, the largest association of professionals in hearing and balance in the UK.
NIHR Doctoral Research Fellowship (2018)
A doctoral research fellowship awarded competitively from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Manchester Biomedical Research Centre. Candidates were from the United Kingdom and all countries in Europe. NIHR Fellowships support individuals with the potential and on a trajectory to become future leaders in NIHR research. Aim of the PhD project is to examine the relationship between socioeconomic inequality and the development of hearing impairment and the impact of hearing impairment on the lives of older adults in England.

1st Prize Award for the Best Oral Presentation at the 12th Panhellenic Congress on Management, Economics and Health Policy (Athens, 12-15 Dec 2016), among 230 speakers. This Congress is under the auspice of the Greek Ministry of Health, has international participations and has gained wide recognition among all health care professionals in Greece. The title of my study was “Addressing Barriers in Access and Disparities in the Use of Health Services of Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Greece”.
